FIELD VISIT TO JAMBOTI(WESTERN GHATS)
With permission from Principal sir, a day trip as a field visit was arranged for 2nd year students on 09/09/2021 to JAMBOTI and KANAKUMBI, which is a part of western ghat. Field visit was arranged by Department of Dravyaguna. Department staff, Dr.Dananuna Hanji and Dr. Manjunath Dundi gave detailed information about different medicinal plants available in the natural habitat of these area. Jamboti is a place for wide diversity for different species and some endangered species like Rubia cordifolia, Saraca asoka, Cyclea peltata etc,.
